International Learn-To-Fly Day At Wisconsin Airports

The International Learn-To-Fly Day was first announced during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2009, and on May 10, 2010, the United States House of Representatives provided support for the event by passing a resolution entitled, “International Learn-To-Fly Day.” With this action, Congress officially designated the third Saturday of May as the annual date for this event to be held throughout the country.

Wisconsin Aviation, Inc. with locations in Watertown, Madison, and Juneau, Wisconsin, held concurrent Learn-To-Fly events on May 21, which included introductory flight lessons for $69, airplane rides for $20, seminars on becoming a pilot, and an informational walking tour of the airports.
