Jeppesen President To Be Featured Speaker At Wisconsin Conference

Mark Van Tine, President and CEO of Jeppesen Corporation, will be the keynote speaker at the Wisconsin Aviation Conference, May 3-5, at the Country Springs Inn, Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Van Tine began his career in 1981 with DataPlan, a leading flight planning and weather services company purchased by Jeppesen in 1989. He served as managing director of DataPlan from 1991 until 1995, when he relocated to Denver to oversee Jeppesen’s worldwide flight information development, printing and distribution operations, and IT organizations. He has spent his career working in a variety of different areas within Jeppesen’s businesses, including flight operations, customer service, charting, and information technology. Van Tine was the company’s chief information officer from 1998 to 2002. He was appointed to his present position in January of 2003. Van Tine received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation from San Jose State University in 1980 and attended the Harvard School of Business Program for Management Development in 1998. He currently holds a private pilot certificate (www.wiama.org/conference.htm).
