Volk Field will be holding their Northern Lightning military training exercise from Aug 22nd-Sep 2nd 2016.
During this time there will be two daily periods of high volume military training within the Volk MOAs. The first: 0900 to 1130 local time (except Sunday Aug 28th) and the second: 1400 to 1630 local time (except Sat & Sun Aug 27th & 28th).
It is highly advisable to remain clear of the Volk MOAs during these times as the airspace will be significantly more congested with military activity.
