OSHKOSH, WIS. – Vic Syracuse, a longtime Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) member and aircraft builder from Locust Grove, Georgia, has been named chairman of EAA’s Homebuilt Aircraft Council. He succeeds Rick Weiss, whose term as chairman ended in 2017.

EAA’s Homebuilt Aircraft Council ensures the organization’s continued focus on vital programs of benefit to current and future aircraft homebuilders. The leaders of the volunteer council represent homebuilders and provide direction for programs, services, and activities that add value for members who are dreaming of, building, buying, and flying homebuilt aircraft.
