March 17, 1932 — November 22, 2025
Pilot, aircraft owner and one of the powerhouses behind the weekly Friday lunches at Central County Airport (68C) in Iola, Wisconsin, William J. Kinsman (Bill), passed away at his home in Manawa, Wis. on November 22, 2025, at the age of 93.
Bill was born March 17, 1932, in Green Bay, Wis. to Donald and Almeda (Perlewitz) Kinsman and raised in Clintonville, Wis. He joined the Army after high school, and following his service, he moved to California briefly before returning to Green Bay, where he met his wife of 58 years, Janet E. Ohlrogge.
Bill had the gift of gab, and it served him well in his chosen profession as a salesman and entrepreneur. A very social person, Bill was active in many organizations over the years especially the Lions Club, Republican politics and the aviation community.
Bill is survived by daughters Katherine L. (Michael) Fritz of Manawa and Nancy E. (Nils) Kinsman of Green Bay; four grandchildren: Elizabeth (Ryan) Kinderman of Chicago, Kristin (Tom) Hinton of Panama City, Florida, Nicholas Kinsman of Larsen, Wis., Norah Kinsman of Ålesund, Norway; and four great-grandchildren.
In memory of Bill, there was a Celebration of Life luncheon held at Central County Airport on December 6, 2025.
