Minnesota Aviation Trades Association (MATA) is sponsoring scholarships available to support future aviators:
- Two $1,000 scholarships to be used for flight training at a MATA-member flight school.
- A $1,000 maintenance scholarship. This scholarship can be used at any certified school. The applicant must be a Minnesota resident.
To apply, applicants should submit a 200-word essay describing their background, goals, and aspirations in aviation to Kreg Anderson or Mark Schwichtenberg. Submissions will be accepted by email or mail, no later than March 15, 2026.
The scholarships will be awarded at the annual MATA meeting on April 23, 2026. Time and location will be coordinated with the winning candidates. Attendance is not required.
