50th Annual Pancake Breakfast at the Red Wing Regional Airport (RGK)
EAA Chapter 1518 is celebrating 52 years as a pilot’s association in 2026, and have been promoting General Aviation in the Red Wing Area and introduced many hundreds of people to the joys of flying over the last 50 years. In 1975 we started as the Upper Hiawatha Valley Pilots Association and in 2010 we became part of the Experimental Aircraft Association. For the last 15 years we have been active in providing Young Eagle Airplane rides for kids 8 to 17 year of age.
This year we are having our 50th Annual Pancake Breakfast at the Red Wing Regional Airport (RGK) on Sunday August 2nd. The breakfast starts at 8AM and runs till noon. Come join us for a good breakfast and experience the aviation community at the Red Wing Regional Airport. The Airport is located east of highway 63 on Wisconsin Highway 35 in Bay City, WI. (That is the only flat land close to Red Wing where an airport could be built). We again will be featuring Sturdiwheat Pancakes with Sugar Bush Maple Syrup and Watkins Meats Breakfast Sausages.
Cost is $12 for an adult, $6 for kids 5 to 12 and kids under 5 are free. Family package for two parents and all of their minor children is $36.
