Expansion Planned At Elliott Aviation

MOLINE, ILL. – Elliott Aviation, a full-service fixed base operation and Beechcraft Service Center with headquarters in Moline, and operations in Des Moines, Minneapolis and Omaha, has unveiled a significant growth plan that would continue expanding its operations at Quad City International Airport in Moline, which could have the potential of adding more than 300 new jobs over the next decade.

The company would expand its airplane paint facility, construct two new buildings, and lease the former Deere & Co. hangar, which is now owned by the airport. The airport acquired the 35,000-square-foot hangar from Deere for $3.1 million.

If the plan goes through, Elliott Aviation could expand its current workforce from 179 employees to 205 in 2012, and 516 by 2021.

Meanwhile, the company has its Omaha, Nebraska facilities up for sale!
