PALM SPRINGS, CALIF. (October 12, 2012) – GA pilot/actor Harrison Ford isn’t just a poster boy for General Aviation… Rather, he understands the true plight of GA and has rolled up his sleeves and volunteered to help get GA’s messages across to Congress and to the general public concerning the need to support the industry and local airports. Ford was a special guest at AOPA’s “A Night For Flight Benefit & Auction,” October 11, 2012, at the AOPA Summit in Palm Springs, Calif., and again during a general session, October 12.
