Discover Aviation Days!

May 31st & June 1st, 2014

BLAINE, MINN. – The annual “Discover Aviation Days” will again celebrate the history and future of flight starting off with a “pancake breakfast and lunch” both days; vintage and modern military aircraft, and general aviation aircraft on display; and period re-enactors. A hangar dance featuring a 15-piece 1940s swing band will be held the evening of Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 8:00 pm to 12 Midnight at the Golden Wings Air Museum (doors open at 6:30 pm, $12 for adults, $8 for students, children 12 and under are free).

See classic cars on display and a parade at noon each day. Meet veterans from World War II, Korea and Vietnam inside a new, large education tent. Numerous aviation exhibits; airplane and helicopter rides, including vintage aircraft rides; food booths and more! Those interested in a career in aviation can stop by the numerous aviation education booths, see flying demonstrations, and participate in activities for youth.
