TOPEKA, KAN. – The great grandson to Dwight David Eisenhower, Merrill Eisenhower Atwater, has been named director of the Kansas Department of Transportation Division of Aviation. Eisenhower comes from a business background, holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo., and is working on a master’s in business administration at Baker University in Baldwin City. He replaces Tiffany Brown, who has accepted a position with the FAA in Denver.
