BREEZY POINT, MINN. – Like many fly-ins today, Breezy Point Airport, Muller Field (8MN3) in Breezy Point, Minnesota, has found that combining a fly-in with a classic car show draws huge crowds. This year’s “Breezy Point Aviation Day,” Saturday, May 3, 2025, marked the airport’s 10th annual fly-in and classic car show. The fly-in is FREE to all visitors, including food and beverages!

The airport is named after U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and former St. Paul business owner, Cliff Muller, who lives on the airport, as do many other pilots. Muller is the airport manager, an active GA pilot, and an aircraft owner and builder. The airport is located in the heart of one of Minnesota’s most popular tourist areas and within close proximately to Breezy Point Resort (https://breezypointresort.com).

Breezy Point Airport is a private airport. Pilots are required to watch the “pilot briefing” video at https://www.breezypointairport.com/ and call Cliff Muller at 218-838-3434 or Erik Lundquist at 507-208-3017 before flying in. Unicom:122.9 Mhz. The date for the 2026 “Breezy Point Aviation Day” is Saturday, May 2.

Meanwhile, pilots can wrap up 2025 with the following Breezy Point Airport activities: August 14 – Mid-Summer Mixer. Enjoy an evening of live music, socializing, and a special Cessna aircraft display. September 11 – Breezy Fly-In Classic. Pilots and spectators gather for a timeless fly-in event with classic aircraft and camaraderie. October 9 (tentative) – Fall Color Tour, Chili Feed and Season Wrap-Up. Close out the season with autumn colors, hearty chili, and good company. For additional information, visit https://www.breezypointairport.com/
