WILLISTON, N.D. – Overland Aviation, in partnership with Williston Basin International Airport (KXWA) and Make-A-Wish® North Dakota, hosted the inaugural “Williston Plane Pull and Fly-In Movie” event, August 16, 2025. Together, the community raised more than $20,000, helping to ensure children in North Dakota facing critical illnesses see their wishes come true.
The day’s activities kicked off with the first-ever plane pull in Williston, where six spirited teams competed to pull a Sun Country Airlines Boeing 737 100 feet across the tarmac. Following the excitement, attendees gathered inside Overland Aviation for the fly-in movie, “Planes,” on a massive screen, and live entertainment, family activities and summer treats.
