SIREN, WIS. – As announced in the June 2025 issue of “Midwest Flyer Monthly” (https://midwestflyer.com/grantsburg-airports-future-still-in-limbo/), the trial scheduled for May 5, 2025, at the Burnett County Courthouse in Siren, Wis., to determine the fate of Grantsburg Municipal Airport (KGTG), was postponed at the request of the attorney representing the Village of Grantsburg. The new dates are October 28th and 29th. And unlike the previously scheduled trial, the judge has decided not to have a jury, leaving the final ruling to him and not peers. For anyone interested in attending and showing their support, the Burnett County Courthouse is located one block from the Burnett County Airport (KRZN). Up to now, Kleiss has been paying all legal fees.
