Air Line Pilots Association Disagrees On Pilot Shortage

While the airlines feel that a pilot shortage currently exists, the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) disagrees, claiming that pilots are either furloughed or flying overseas for better pay. ALPA reports that some 1,154 members are currently furloughed from U.S. airlines.
