DESTINATIONS – Dates & Rates For 2026 Canada Fishing Fly-Out To Miminiska Lodge Announced!

The “Canada Fishing Fly-Out” will again be held at Miminiska Lodge, Ontario (CPS5), located 192 nm north of Thunder Bay. 

The owners of Miminiska Lodge, Wilderness North, is offering your choice of either a 3 or 5-night trip:

The dates for the 3-night trip are as follows:

  • Arrive Wednesday, July 29 and Depart Saturday, August 1.
  • Nights = July 29, 30 and 31.

The dates for the 5-night trip are as follows:

  • Arrive Wednesday, July 29 and Depart Monday, August 3.
  • Nights = July 29, 30, 31, August 1 & 2.

And despite inflation, Wilderness North is keeping its “Reel Deal Rates” the same as 2025:

3-nights/2-days = $1,800.00.

5-nights/4-days. = $2,775.00.

NOTE: The standard rates of $2,000.00 (3-nights) and $3,100.00 (5 nights) will apply for reservations made after February 15, 2026, and space is limited to the first 14 people who sign up. First come, first serve!

Rates include taxes and boat insurance!

Any guest who arrives by 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 29, may fish that afternoon at no additional charge!

And that’s not all we are getting free at Miminiska Lodge. Each guest is allowed two (2) complimentary cocktails at the reception each evening before dinner, plus FREE WIFI internet and telephone service, and the use of the sauna, billiards, satellite television, and recreational watercraft (paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks). 

Due to limited space, and to guarantee your spot – and to receive the “Reel Deal Discount Rate” as quoted here, please make your reservation no later than February 15, 2026 by calling Krista Cheeseman at Wilderness North at 1-888-465-3474, or emailing: krista.cheeseman@wildernessnorth.com 

In lieu of the special “Reel Deal Discount Rate,” and the cost to process payments via credit card, please make your payment by check and mail to:

Include your name, the names of your guests, your contact information, and specify either the 3-night or 5-night trip.

A 4% courtesy fee will be added to reservations which are paid by credit card. 

Should something unforeseen come up and you must cancel your reservation, all but $500.00 per guest will be fully refunded. This $500.00 will be applied as credit to any future reservation and is good for a lifetime!  

Miscellaneous purchases at the lodge and gratuity may be paid on site in cash, or with a check or credit card. Your Ontario fishing license and outdoors card are extra but can be ordered in advance through Wilderness North for your convenience.
