Washington, DC – National Air Transportation Association (NATA) congratulated Daniel J. Edwards on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate to serve as Assistant Secretary of Transportation for Aviation and International Affairs. Edwards also serves as Federal Aviation Administration Associate Administrator for Airports.
Edwards brings extensive experience across military, government, and industry leadership, including 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, executive roles in MRO and aviation infrastructure, and work advancing EMAS runway safety technology.

NATA also congratulates Member Michael Graham on his confirmation to a second term on the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and appreciates his continued dedication to the Board’s critical safety mission.
