Pietenpol Reunion Continues to Celebrate Homebuilt Aviation Heritage

Posted on July 18, 2026July 18, 2026 by mwflyer

The annual Pietenpol Reunion, hosted by the Brodhead Pietenpol Association and EAA Chapter 431, brings Pietenpol enthusiasts from across the country to Brodhead Airport (C37) each July. Held over four days during the weekend preceding EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the event offers a consistent schedule that makes it easy for attendees to plan their annual visit.

The reunion begins informally on Thursday with fellowship and a shared evening meal. Friday and Saturday feature a full schedule of forums, aircraft fly-bys, rides, and food service organized by EAA Chapter 431. On Sunday, participants typically depart for home or continue on to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, making the reunion a popular kickoff to aviation’s biggest week.
