The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company will return to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 2026 with its iconic Goodyear Blimp, Wingfoot One, continuing a decades-long tradition at the world’s largest fly-in convention. The 73rd Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture is July 20-26 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with Wingfoot One scheduled to arrive on Thursday, July 23.
The appearance marks 55 years since the Goodyear Blimp America made its first visit to the EAA fly-in in 1971. Goodyear has remained a regular presence at AirVenture ever since, including a special appearance in 2025 when two blimps visited Oshkosh to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Pilgrim, the company’s first branded blimp.
Wingfoot One is expected to make several flights throughout the week and will also be on display at Pioneer Airport, where it is traditionally one of the event’s most recognizable attractions.
Goodyear will also exhibit in the Main Aircraft Display (Booth #489), highlighting its aviation tire portfolio for commercial, military, and general aviation applications. The exhibit will also feature the company’s consumer products, interactive displays, and exclusive Goodyear merchandise.
For more than a century, Goodyear has been a leader in aviation innovation, developing aircraft tires and building airships for commercial and military applications, including hundreds of blimps for the U.S. Navy during World War II. The company also pioneered live aerial television coverage in 1955, helping make the Goodyear Blimp an enduring symbol of major sporting and cultural events.
