HIGHLAND, ILL. – Whether you are a beginner or someone needing to brush up on your skills, Wicks Aircraft Supply will host a 2-day seminar on aircraft fabric covering on Friday and Saturday, June 8-9, 2012, at their offices at 410 Pine Street, in Highland, Illinois. The seminar will give aircraft builders and restorers hands on experience in learning the basics of fabric covering. The presenters will demonstrate preparation, fitting, gluing, heat shrinking, coatings, taping, rib stitching and final painting techniques. Essentially, it’s a 16-hour hands-on course, working with the materials and learning the skills of aircraft covering.
