The 2025 Canada Fishing Fly-Out to Miminiska Lodge in northwest Ontario (CPS5), will be held August 3 – 8. We will arrive on Sunday, August 3, and depart on Friday, August 8, and as a loyal reader of Midwest Flyer Monthly, I wish to extend a personal invitation to you to join us.
Special features include a 2,400 ft. private grass airstrip, well-maintained boats and motors, shore lunches especially prepared by staff, fish cleaning and freezing for take-home catches, an extra afternoon of fishing free of charge for those guests who arrive by 2:00 pm on August 3, evening receptions and superb dinners in the lodge, WIFI internet and telephone service, and the use of the sauna, billiards, satellite television, and recreational watercraft (paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks) at no additional charge! The reservation fee includes taxes and boat insurance! Guide service is available upon request for an additional fee. Detailed maps of the Albany River Watershed, noting where each species of fish have been caught, are available free of charge!
I’ve been to several fishing resorts in Canada since 1981, in both Manitoba and Ontario, and there’s more than one reason Miminiska Lodge has been our preferred fishing destination since 2007. Exceptional fishing and wonderful hospitality… beautiful and well-maintained facilities which are only accessible by air… close enough to the border for safety and convenience, yet far enough from home to make every trip an adventure!
